Description

Luncheons in the garden at the historic Peña-Peck House are a Saint Augustine tradition! As we enter our 130th year, we're pleased to invite you to join us to the first of our 2022 series, featuring guest speaker Rosamund Parrish. Rosamond released Lincolnville: A Sketchbook Journal of St. Augustine’s Historic Neighborhood in 2012, with original artwork highlighting important events, architecture, and prominent people of the area. In 2020, she published St. Augustine: A Sketchbook which captures the charm of the city’s historic neighborhoods, iconic architecture, and scenic vistas. Parrish is an award-winning artist, founder of the Jacksonville Watercolor Society and signature life member of the Florida Watercolor Society. She did post-graduate work in art at the University of Hawaii, Flagler College, and the University of North Florida. She also served on the board of the St. Augustine Art Association. Lunch will be prepared and graciously served by us, the members of the Saint Augustine Woman's Exchange. Our menu will feature recipes from historic St. Augustine cookbooks, including: Honey's Cheese Hermits, Tomato Pie, Green Beans with Feta and Basil, Mediterranean Orzo Salad, Homemade Breads and Heavenly Banana Delight. Soft beverages will be provided, guests are welcome to bring a bottle of wine if they would like. Tickets are $45 which includes tax. Individual seats are available as well as entire tables of 8 guests. If you would like to reserve a table larger than 8 people or any additional information please contact: [email protected]. To request to be seated with specific guests, please email the names of the parties you would like at your table [email protected]. As we celebrate our 130th year in St. Augustine, we thank you in advance for your generous participation. All profits benefit the Woman’s Exchange of St. Augustine Historic House Museum, historic programming & our Scholarship Program for women 30 and older returning to school. We look forward to seeing you there!
