This seminar is designed for all health care professionals and front line staff who work with clients that have Dementia/Alzheimer’s. This is the required seminar for those pursuing CDP ®certification and who qualify through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners/International Council of Dementia Care Practitioners or those healthcare professional who want to gain more knowledge and skill in providing services to clients with Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia. To see if you qualify for certification, please visit the NCCDP web site at www.nccdp.org or just come for the education. Upon completion of the seminar, you will have 30 days to submit your application to NCCDP for certification. Instructor: Tammy DeCaro, MSM, CADDCT, CDP, CDAL Tammy has 25+ years in the healthcare industry in hospice, home health, Assisted Living Communities, and long term care insurance segments. Tammy is the Executive Director at Barrington Terrace ALF and Memory Care community. 8 CEUs will be provided for all licensed professionals belonging to one of the following credentialing boards:  Florida Board of Nursing #20-634720. Florida Statewide Public Guardianship Office (indefinite). Florida Nursing Home Administrators and Florida Board of Social Work approved.
