Reduced Fee Dog & Cat Adoption Event

Description

Due to the unprecedented number of animals continuing to enter the Jackson County Animal Shelter, both dog and cat lovers can visit the shelter on September 10 & 11 without an appointment between noon and 4 p.m., to find their best furry friend at a reduced fee. The fee for dogs will be just $50 and cats just $20 during this event. Jackson County residents also pay $25 for a county dog license. This is the first time cats are also being included in this reduced fee event. All these animals need and deserve good, caring homes, and our shelter needs to free-up kennel space, so if you've been considering a new pet, please visit the shelter. The animal shelter is located at 5595 So. Pacific Hwy (99) in Phoenix, near Talent. All standard adoption application, screening, and approval processes remain in effect.
