Warehouse/Delivery Driver Position Open for Rise Over Run Wine (For more information about our company, see our website: riseoverrunwine.com) We are a small wine importer and distributor operating across North Carolina out of our Durham warehouse, serving restaurants, bars, and retail. We are looking for a qualified candidate to manage our small Durham warehouse and conduct all aspects of deliveries. Tasks include: receiving wine shipments on pallets; operating a forklift; breaking down and putting away these shipments in the warehouse; keeping the wine organized; pulling wine for individual orders to be delivered; delivering orders and managing your driving routes; using the computer to print invoices and input delivery information at the end of each delivery day. This is a great opportunity for someone who is task oriented, enjoys driving, and is self-motivated. Experience and Skills: -Ability to pick up and move around 40-50lb cases of wine with MUCH repetition, hence you must be in good physical condition especially regarding your back - please consider whether you are up for that as moving wine cases will comprise a large portion of your daily activity -forklift experience a plus -Prior driving or delivery experience is highly preferred, though not necessarily required if you have a clean driving record and are comfortable driving a larger van and have any kind of experience with that -Basic computer skills for printing orders, logging delivery information, etc -Ability to design your delivery route efficiently -Excellent organizational skills, organizing your time, organizing invoices and checks, logging delivery information, etc -Interest in wine and what we do would be a great perk!
