Hi. I'm Náviin. I am new to Albuquerque and looking for new clients! I have plenty of really great references, and my resume available upon request. I have extensive experience caring for and interacting with all ages (mostly infant and preschool). I have certifications in Childcare including Growth & Development; and Activities for Young Children. I've also Completed All 5 Family Childcare Provider Pre-Service courses including Growth and Development, Curriculum Planning, Health safety & Nutrition, Special Needs, and Professionalism. My work experience includes (but is not limited to): *Ark Preschool in Baltimore, MD where I helped facilitate social-emotional learning for groups of 16-20 children ages 3-6 years from families who were experiencing homelessness or were in early recovery from addiction. (read mor on my resume) *Kidz City Baltimore, Where I assisted collective members with watching over and interacted with children within a self-directed space...(read more on my resume) *Childcare Team at NFNC Summer Camp in Elk Garden WV, where I participated in collective organizing and planning, envisioning and brainstorming ideas for creating and maintaining a fun, safe, nourishing and inclusive space and experience for the children of the community. Worked together with the kids, their parents and other community members on projects that helped to develop youth leadership, incorporate youth decision making, nurture autonomy and self awareness,, practice social emotional awareness, boundaries and consent, self expression, cooperation, curiosity, conflict resolution, and to incorporate many other NFNC perspectives. Went on hikes and swim trips with the kids, explored nature, played games, did nature crafts and other camp activities. For the past 20+years I've independently provided in home care for children ages 0-12. I've cared for children overnight (including week-long stays), assisting them with their bedtime preparation and morning routines, healthy meal preparation, bottle feeding, diaper changing, holding and nurturing, reading stories, walks to play at the park, and other outings. I've assisted with homework, school projects and home-schooling activities, and contributed to and guided nature-based, play-based, and social-emotional learning. Services with my current business have also included house cleaning and organizing, errand running, caring for animals, house and pet sitting, as well as event coordination and elderly care.
