Student Loan Assistance Pilot Project Marketing Plan

Description

This is a straightforward proposition. I'm looking for a couple of students who are burdened by student loans to launch this pilot program to help alleviate that burden. The idea is that I, the private sector, donate to you, the "public sector", merchandise valued at $20-30k, That's 1000+ items, to be sold off at an appropriate venue with the proceeds evenly split. Your half earmarked for student loan relief. Mine will pay for the inventory. This sportswear/streetwear sells for $20/24 on-line and $15/20 on the street. It's all unused. I've posted some photos but I have a several categories. What's the best venue? School is back is session so I can't think of a better place than that. We could do a 60 day test trial at a college or university with their permission and cooperation, perhaps near the student union or somewhere with high foot traffic. I think $20k is a reasonable goal and achievable if you set-up in the right spot and slick marketing campaign. Once the goal is met you turn the kiosk over to another group. It could be copied elsewhere at other colleges or universities. A student loan relief booth, somewhere to brainstorm, share leads on where to secure merch, keep a running tally like a big red thermometer up to $20k, showing your progress and ultimate success. after all the private sector needs an educated workforce unburdened by debt, etc.. So this is also about taking matters into your own hands which shows initiative, responsibility, leadership, courage, commitment and resourcefulness which is important to any employer. I'm not sure if the recent relief package proposed by President Biden will even occur so in the meantime why not cash in on this proposal and supplement your resume at the same time. I'd put it this side-hustle on mine because it's a lot more than that. Any recent grad, especially in business, or more specifically marketing should consider this an interesting challenge. I've already given you "The Four P's", product, promotion, price, place. I just need a couple of savvy grads to put it together and before school breaks for Christmas. I have one clothing rack so you'll need maybe two more and a couple of tables for your humble display, all neatly packaged and irresistible to your fellow students. Serious replies at your earliest convenience and I'll follow up on any reasonable sounding proposal. The sooner the better. Thanks.
