Looking to Adopt Young Golden Retriever

NO NEED TO FLAG THIS POST ANIMAL CRUSADERS. IT'S HONEST AND LEGITIMATE. I am hoping to adopt a young adult male or female purebred Golden retriever or Golden/Lab mix. Maybe your circumstances have changed or you're finding that your dog doesn't fit your lifestyle anymore but you want to find the best placement for it. We are very experienced dog lovers (Retrievers in particular) with a large house/yard and an amazing life to offer a dog. Our 15-year-old Golden mix passed away in May and we miss him very much. I've looked at all the rescue sites and Goldens are the first to be adopted so that doesn't seem to be a viable option. Ideally this dog would be about 1.5 - 3 years of age, house trained and non-aggressive (with people or other dogs). I am willing to pay a rehoming fee and travel anywhere within the state for the right dog. If a responsible breeder with a retired dog is looking to sell I would also definitely consider that. I am NOT interested in: • Doodles of any kind • Puppies (that's 8 weeks to 1 year) • Mixes (other than Labrador Retriever) • Paying any kind of upfront fee before meeting the dog. **Scammers, don't bother. I can easily spot you.** I would appreciate: • Straightforward communication as I will be asking questions about the dog's health, lineage and temperament • More than one photo • The ability to bring my two boxers for a meet and greet to make sure everyone gets along Thanks for reading this far.
