Description
Hi: We are an established, 5-pc, part-time band with bookings and a female lead/front vocalist playing a mix of danceable, fun, classic-to-current rock, pop and modern country. Band member ages range from ‘40’s to ‘60’s. And we’re currently looking to “grow” the band by adding a male lead-vocalist who will share the lead-vocal/front duties with our female lead vox. Other members of the band can already sing some lead and harmony vocals as well, so we think the addition of dedicated male-lead voice (in addition to our female-lead and our other vocals) will be a huge plus, and will broaden the range of material that we can cover. And of course, you will have input into the selection of music that we cover too.
Live-stage experience is strongly preferred but not absolutely essential. Some harmony vocal ability is expected. If you play any instrument…harp, guitar, keys, or whatever, even if only minimally…that could be a big bonus.
Experienced karaoke singers with no “live-band” stage experience are also welcome to apply as well. But please, only if you’re serious! This isn’t just about partying, because this can be real “work”. We’re all experienced, so we will have expectations of you to be able to hit the mark and perform accordingly under live band conditions.
Please be drama-free. If anyone in your life has ever accused you of having excessive drug or alcohol issues, homicidal tendencies or multiple-personalities, then I’d say it’s a pretty good chance that you won’t work out.
