All we ask for is a copy of your driver's license, a copy of your insurance card, and a copy of your registration and have you read and sign the company rental agreement contract. We have a spare tire and a copy of the trailer registration. The customer and I will do a full pre-trip inspection around the trailer… You can call your auto insurance company and you can add full cover on the trailer if you like.
