Biden's foot in the door on the second amendment.

Description

President Joe Biden has made no secret of his opposition to the Second Amendment in its current form during his time in the White House. As of July 2022, his administration had implemented 21 separate executive actions aimed at curbing access to guns and reducing gun violence. According to the president himself, he’s not finished yet. On August 30, during a campaign address in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Biden repeatedly claimed he intended to ban assault weapons in the United States. He used the mass shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, earlier this year as an example of why such a move should be considered. He also referred to a previous 10-year ban Congress instituted on assault weapons in 1994, while he was a senator, claiming there was no reason why a similar measure couldn’t come about again. It's interesting that Biden armed the terrorist Taliban with full auto assault weapons (made in America) and wants to take your semi auto AR rifles away. I wonder how many stranded US citizens are still in Kabul. Biden’s position on gun control is part of a broader strategy he has when it comes to the prevention of crime. In defiance of the more radical elements of the Democratic Party, he promised to add funding for regional police departments during his Wilkes-Barre address. He also rebuked Republicans who suggested defunding the FBI following the recent raid on the Mar-a-Lago home of former President Donald Trump.
