I have suddenly found myself in a position I never thought I would be in. I am temporarily homeless. I will be fine and will find a new place soon, but my main concern is for my dog. I have been staying with a friend, but his landlord does not allow dogs. Not wanting to risk him losing his place, I need to find suitable temporary housing for my pooch. I am concerned about this because she 14 years old and going deaf and has some problems with her hips. She is healthy and still continent but it takes her a little longer to get up. She's old. She is a sweetheart and I have had her since she was a pup. Since giving her up is not an option, I am looking for a kind heart who can take her in and offer the stability and love she deserves while I find us a place to live. The issue with boarding her by normal channels is my financial situation. Most boarders charge between $15 and $25 per day with some as high as $65. Please don't think I am asking for a freebie. That is not the case. I am asking for someone who would be willing to accept something around $50 per week, possibly a little more. I will also furnish the food for her. I know it is asking a lot, so I am hoping against hope that someone will find it in in their hearts to help out. Thank you for your consideration and I hope to hear from you soon. Sincerely, Scott
