Topic: MANAGING THE CONSTRUCTION CHALLENGES OF TODAY This presentation will review the industry specific challenges affecting the construction process today and how to best address them – including long lead times, alternate project delivery methods, and workforce development. BIO: Tom Martin is the President of T. H. Martin, Inc. which is headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, with a satellite office in Akron, is a full-service Mechanical/Plumbing/Sheet Metal Contractor. T. H. Martin employs on average 100 sheet metal works and 75 pipe fitters, plumbing and service fitters. Tom has served as SMACNA Cleveland president from 2015 to present and is currently the SMACNA National Vice President. He served on the SMACNA National Board of Directors from 2018 to 2021. He currently serves as a SMACNA Cleveland District JATC and LMCC Trustee and was named the National Contractor of the Year in 2018.
