Join our Dried Floral Design Workshop in beautiful Beacon, NY! Dried flower arrangements are some of the most stylish, lowest-maintenance accents to spruce up your place. With proper care, they should last 2-3 years with no watering, no gardening, no fuss. At this small group workshop, you'll learn the basics of dried floral design and create a vibrant dried arrangement to take home with you. During the class, you'll learn about: Selecting the best dried flowersComposing unique, balanced arrangements that suit your styleColor theory options so your design looks intentional Vases and supplies to make even more designs at home!After a tutorial and demo, you'll get to work making your own arrangement, with hands-on guidance when you need it. We'll have tasty beverages, fun music on the speakers, and good vibes all around. All guests will receive a 15% discount to shop at Witch Hazel after the event. You don't need to bring anything except yourself...so grab a ticket and come on over. See you at the flower bar! FAQ Do I need to wear/bring/prep anything special for the class? No! Be comfortable, as we'll design standing up at tables. We'll provide all the flowers and supplies. Accommodations are readily available for those using wheelchairs and folks who cannot stand comfortably for extended periods. Where do I go for the class? Come to 176 Main Street in Beacon, NY, and enter through the shop's front door. It's to the left of the store window. If you can, pop by a few minutes early to grab a drink and get settled. Do I need any prior experience with flowers? Nope! Do I get to take my arrangement home? Yep! What happens if I purchase a ticket but can't attend? Because we're a small business and have to order flowers and supplies in advance, we unfortunately can't offer refunds within 48 hours of the event. We understand there are emergencies and exceptions, though, especially during Covid times. Email [email protected] before the event if health or other circumstances prevent you from attending. What are your Covid precautions? Our store (where the workshop will take place) is cleaned and sanitized regularly. Staff will wear masks during the event, and masks are encouraged for guests. The class size is limited to 8 guests, and each guest will have individual, sanitized supplies. We can't make the Covid risk zero, but we'll do everything we can to make the space feel as safe and comfortable for everyone as we can.
