Description

Join pianist Alison Lee one-hour program of music by Alexander Scriabin! A Russian composer of the late Romantic period, Scriabin (1872-1915) is known for his mystic-sounding and "otherwordly" tonal language. Young Scriabin was particularly inspired by the music of Frederic Chopin, so if you're familiar with Chopin's music you'll hear the resemblance -- and distinction -- between the two composers' styles in this program. Tickets are limited and will not be sold at the door. Reserve your spot today! Masks and proof of vaccination are required upon entry. PROGRAM 24 Preludes, Op.11 Sonata No.2 in G-Sharp Minor, Op.19 "Sonata-Fantaisie" ABOUT THE ARTIST A native of Fremont, California, Dr. Alison Lee is a pianist based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
