Friends of Missions, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, will be hosting a Friends of Missions Banquet benefiting four amazing mission organizations: Love Justice International, Nueva Esperanza, Abundant Hope Ministries and the Lakeway Foster & Adoptive Parent Association. Our banquet will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Arrowhead Church. Seating and silent auction will begin at 6 PM; dinner and program will begin at 6:30 PM. Together, we can impact many lives locally and around the world! ABOUT OUR MISSIONS ORGANIZATIONS: Love Justice International provides Human Trafficking Intervention through transit monitoring stations in 28 countries. Globally, it is estimated that there are 40.3 million slaves—the largest amount in history. Through transit monitoring and interception, Love Justice International attacks trafficking at the most strategic moment—while it is in the process of occurring and BEFORE exploitation and enslavement. They have intercepted over 32,000 people to prevent them from being trafficked. www.lovejustice.ngo Nueva Esperanza exists as a ministry that seeks to affect permanent change in the spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical lives of poor children living in Honduras. Children are given daily care and attention along with being taught biblical values, personal hygiene, and life skills. Academic reinforcement, food, clothing, and medical care are also part of their program. www.hopeinhonduras.org Abundant Hope Ministries exists to help individuals with substance abuse addictions have life-hanging encounters through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Located in Morristown, TN, they offer both male and female certified Addiction Recovery Programs through the state of Tennessee. They also offer essential programs like Christian Counseling, HiSet Preparation, Job-Skills Training, Church Services, Bible studies, and Life-Skill classes. www.ahmtn.org Lakeway Foster & Adoptive Parent Association is a local non-profit organization that provides much needed support and resources for our Foster & Adoptive Parents and their children in Grainger, Claiborne and Hamblen Counties.
