Calling to the floor, the HAUS OF JUSTICE! SMASH just opened its first community controlled affordable housing cooperative for those fighting slum, gentrification, homelessness and the affordable housing crisis. We're throwing a HAUS PARTY to celebrate and raise funds for the residents of the new house, and so we can keep building more! You said the rent is too damn high? We agree. Now let's do something about it! Struggle for Miami's Affordable and Sustainable Housing (SMASH) is a non-profit grassroots organization building and operating affordable housing that is community designed and controlled. It is carbon-neutral, and resilient to the effects of sea-level rise. And SMASH is building one of these houses in every Miami neighborhood, until everyone has a home and housing is a human right!
