4 Vocalists, A Drummer, Bass Player (and maybe a guitar player???) Wanted. I'm considering the idea of putting together a group that would play all modern dance music and Hip Hop from the 90s, 00s and 10s. (artist list at the bottom) Trying to see if I can find any interested people. I am a keyboard player. I had a group called The Good Life in NJ that did this very successfully for a decade. I want to investigate the possibilities of a group like this here in Fl. I've lived here for a year and I've really only seen rock bands. If you're interested, please send me a video (any ol' phone video will do) of you singing or playing something in one of the genres. (Artist list at the bottom) Impress me. If the right people show up, I imagine this will take at least 6 months to get started. I'm not THAT concerned with age but YOU MUST HAVE A GOOD LOOK. Four Vocalists - Im thinking two male and two female but let's see how it goes. You need to be able to harmonize. You can't be afraid to rap and you can't just stand there. YOU MUST BE ENTERTAINING TO WATCH. Now that I live so far from NYC, I'm not sure how many people who only rap and don't sing will answer my ad. If you only rap, I will still check you out but NYC rappers all wanted to play their originals. This is a cover band. We're never going to play your original songs....ever....sorry.... I NEED: Drummer - preferably one with an electronic drum kit that plays samples. We need more of a Questlove than a John Bonham. Bass- preferably one who plays bass and bass synth or maybe bass and guitar. We'll see who turns up. Guitar - We had a guitar player early on but after that we just used samples. I would like to have someone who could maybe play guitar and synth or guitar and bass but they'd have to be able to match the guitar sounds on the record.
