Description

The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) has reported that 4.9million illegal immigrants have crossed our southern border during Joe Biden's presidency. This shatters all previous totals. In addition to these alarming numbers and according to the CDC, "150 people die every day from overdoses related to synthetic opioids like fentanyl, they continue to report "even is small doses it can be deadly." 107,000 American lives were lost last year to overdoses, this is also a record setting statistic. In fact, 75% of these overdoses result from opioids such as fentanyl. Our wide open southern border accounts for 95% of the fentanyl entering our country and poisoning so many of our young people, tragically ending their lives. Yet, the Biden Administration and Congressional Democrats such as Katherine Clark refuse to pursue any action to close the border, as a result they are culpable in the tragic deaths of our young people. Particularly here in Middlesex County, where Congresswoman Clark has been in office since 2013, people are disproportionally impacted by overdose deaths. This national crisis is twice as bad in Massachusetts than it is in other parts of the country. Congresswoman Clark blames the pandemic using it as a political crutch for every issue she and other progressives in Congress continue to kick down the proverbial road. The reason people are dying is due to fentanyl poisoning, and the reason there is so much fentanyl in our country is due to our current open border policy. Close the southern border and stop the fentanyl from pouring into Massachusetts! Thankfully, people of Massachusetts are not buying Clark's lame excuses. Opioid deaths have been plaguing Middlesex County for some time now, and shortly after the 2022 election this November, there will be many empty seats at the Thanksgiving dinner table. These seats were once filled by our loved ones and friends who are now missing because of the complacency and inaction of progressives in Congress who refuse to admit that their open border policy has failed the American people. We have Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and Katherine Clark to thank for the open border. As this criminal enterprise fentanyl crisis continues there are local impacts. Our emergency rooms are filled to capacity and beyond, and healthcare workers are stressed and overworked. Violent crime is rising in urban and suburban areas. Tragically, 31% of women and children are sexually assaulted as they cross the border. It's despicable that in this modern day and time, women and children are being sold as sex slaves by cartels. Sadly, this means nothing to the Democrats in Congress. Congresswoman Clark needs to be told by the voters this November that it is not compassionate to leave our southern border open – quite the contrary – it's inhumane. Katherine Clark must perform the job she was elected to, and she must uphold her vow to the U.S. Constitution and our country's immigration laws. Clark must take a stand. She must advocate for the district by urging Joe Biden to close our southern border now in order to stop the flow of fentanyl and sex trafficking.
