South Austin neighborhood: large live oak trunk. Tree was struck by lightning and died six or seven years ago. This is all that's left. Very strong hardwood you can cut it down and take it for woodworking or for you artists out there you can come in carve it into a sculpture if you want. It can be practiced for you whether you cut it down and take it to your studio or carpet on scene standing in the yard. If I like it you don't want it it can stay. If you like it and want it you can have it. Otherwise I'd hate to just cut it down. It is a great piece of wood as a blank canvas for the artist established or in the making.
