I need someone with some old motors to show me how to take one apart/ put it back together!
Here's the circumstance: I am a building automation technician with an electrical background who has (unsolicited) been offered a hands-on job interview for an industrial position at the end of this week. I just got word that the "test" is taking apart and troubleshooting a stepper or servo motor.
I have NEVER done this before. I've seen videos, but watching videos is not the same thing as actually doing the work. Knowing theory has nothing to do with figuring out how to pop off an end bell... In my world motors are small, come in cases of 20, and we just replace one if it isn't working correctly... Never had anything else to do with them...
Please help me not make a fool of myself.
