Is it possible to repair a GPU that stopped working?

I have a RTX 3090 that stopped working. I'm wondering if it's possible to diagnose and repair it? Is anyone here capable of doing that? My PC does not recognize it anymore. Sadly, I bought it in the height of the GPU shortage and paid $2400 and it decided to just give out on me. Definitely can't afford another.
