Hi, I’m 45 and I play guitar, bass and percussion. I gravitate toward simple song forms, pretty melodies, improvised aspects and a laid-back positive vibe. I like a wide range of musical styles, but I’m not looking to play: (Real Book) jazz charts, smooth jazz, jazzy pop, blues rock, fusion, funk jams, highly complex or experimental stuff. For this project I’m thinking something more like “chill pretty ‘world’ psychedelic”. I’d love to hear from you if play percussion, bass, keys, winds, sing etc. I’m open to guitarists — but you’ve gotta be cool with keeping things simple and focusing on rhythm, playing other instruments or not playing at all if that’s what sounds best. I’m in NE Seattle so hopefully you are fairly nearby, in most cases it probably won’t work if you are located too far outside of the Seattle area.
