I have a huge backlog of lyrics that are dying to have music paired with them. Genre? I really don’t care: Electronic. Metal. New Wave. Country. Goth. Shoegaze. Reggae. Whatever. Rap? I will give it a go, always up for a challenge. The only limit I imagine would be 140 bpm. I’m not looking to start a band, I am seeking partners in an art project (but if some long term collaborators come out of it, that’s great). This would be a collaboration via email: I write the lyrics, come up with vocal melodies to your music, find a way to record those vocals, and that’s a song. If you want to re-record the vocal with another singer, whatever; I’m not some diva who is overly precious about that sorta thing. This is a low pressure project, I’m not some 21 year old, eyes bright with ambition ready to jump in with the sharks. I don’t have a bunch of color coded flow charts brimming with ambition and zeal pinned up in the ol’ garret---I’m just an art dude with a knack for writing lyrics.
