I tried this before with NO success. I've been trying to get at least 12 ball players to play in a 16" Softball tournament for years now. There's a Tournament in Tempe October 15-16. Gloves are ALLOWED. If we get enough players interested I have a dozen 16" softballs that we can get some practice with. If you are interested contact me. Maybe we can't make this tourney but there will be another one in March or April. If you're playing a lot of 12" softball like I am, you'll find 16" is a lot more fun to play. Bases are 60 feet. Pitchers mound 38'. Other interesting rules to make it fun. I grew up in the Chicago suburbs and only played NO glove 16". FYI - just so you know, your lightweight senior bats won't do much good hitting this ball. You're going to need a minimum of 34 inch length and 32oz. Most likely wood or Alum.
Note - They are only taking 12 teams. 11 have already signed up and paid their $$.
