What I’m looking for in a bassist with vocals: • Ability to play in the style of the music and be ready to CRUNCH it when the music calls for it • Sing some (if not all) lead vocals and background vocals • Be a fan of the music with deep knowledge of the catalogue • Have pro gear • Be willing to commit to this band and play at least two gigs a month • Show up to weekly rehearsals ready to work and expand the show list • Be easy to get along with and willing to work as a team What I’m NOT looking for: • Mercenaries/“guns for hire” or those “fishing for any band” • Musicians who haven’t made up their mind yet as to what they really want to commit to • Assholes, egomaniacs, showoffs • People who don’t do the homework needed to make this band GREAT I’ve been working on putting this band together and I’ve had some fits and starts with some good people, some not-so-good people, and some people who just wasted everyone’s time. I’m determined to get this off the ground and out playing because I know there is both a market and a strong fan base for this music. Weezer will not be the only artist featured in this band, but it will be the great majority of music we cover.
