Description
We have a small trench we need dug by hand. The trench is roughly 12" deep, 1' wide, and maybe 20' long. However, it is right next to a large tree so the large tree roots cannot be cut. They will have be hand dug around. This is hard packed soil so much of it may have to be done with a pick. It will need to be dug cleanly with a smooth level bottom. I have the pick and all shovels. I expect this will take someone experienced a half day to a full day to do. We are looking to have this done immediately, starting today if possible. $35/ hr cash (if you finish in under 4 hours, will pay $140).
Please don't apply if you aren't experienced with this type of digging...that will be obvious when you start. This is not light digging, if you've hand dug trenches through hard soil around trees, you know what I mean. Looking for someone who is experienced with this and knows how to use various shovels and picks to cleanly and efficiently hand cut a trench.
