I am looking for other musicians, vocalists, and lyricists who believe the most important ingredient to success in the music industry is the song. There will always be a place in the music industry for great songs with a solid concept, well-defined structure,with strong musical and lyrical hooks and a message that others can identify with. I would like to work with committed songwriters on a 50/50 collaborative basis. Most of my work to date has been in the genres of pop, rock, blues, jazz, and country, but I am open to almost any genre as long as I can feel it and "hear" it. Production is no problem. If the song is there, I can produce strong demos. My strength is lyrics and music -- and production. Honestly, I'm not into gigging anymore. Gigging is fun, but it pays little given the amount of time and effort involved. It's hard to keep gigging bands together, even if only for limited projects. Egos, schedules, family and other issues tend to get in the way. I want to get new material out there on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, Pandora, iHeart Radio, YouTube, etc., etc. In other words, all of the streaming services. Royalty payment to songwriters recently increased, thanks to legislation. So now is the best time to get original material out there. I double as a professonal studio lead guitarist if you are looking for strong lead guitar tracks for your original songs/albums. Payment is negotiable. I can provide finished polished.wav files perfectly synch'd with your tracks for you to drop into your project and edit to taste. But my main thing is songwriting. If yours is too, drop me a line.
