PAPA JOHN KOLSTAD SELECTED TO RECEIVE THE MINNESOTA BLUES HALL OF FAME "LEGEND" AWARD. "LEGACY" AWARD HONORS LATE BAND LEADER/MUSICIAN, PAUL MANSKE. The 15th Annual Minnesota Blues Society's Blues Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2022, at Jimmy's Event Center in Vadnais Heights, MN. $30 Reserved - $20 General Admission. On Sunday, October 16, the ceremony honors and features Minnesota Blues artists/supporter: guitarist/singer, Moses Oakland, in the "Performer" category; guitarist, Tom Kochie, as "Sideman"; Music pioneer, Papa John Kolstad, as "Legend". Further, the 2022 Minnesota Bleus Hall of Fame "Legacy" tribute will be bestowed upon the family of late band leader/bassist, Paul Manske. A special Keeping the Blues Alive recognition will be presented to Everett Smithson for his dedicated contributions as a Blues Educator.
