The Car: 2009 HHR Panel 2.2 The Problem: After starting the car, it idles well for about 15 seconds and then starts to run rough, eventually stalling out; on the open road, it runs well with little or no loss of power. This all started about 30 days ago, and since I have done the following: The Parts: Compression is acceptable on each cylinder; All new ignition coils and spark plugs. New gas cap? New crank and cam sensors, New intake and exhaust camshaft position sensors. New fuel tank pressure sensor. New throttle body. New fuel filters. Eliminated all cat problems by straight pipe installed. I have an excellent scanner, and each time I install something new to eliminate the code, it seems more codes show up; it is by far the strangest thing that has ever happened to me. I am not a mechanic, but I am pretty sure the problem lies in the wiring area, so I am looking for some help from someone who has experience in auto wiring problems. The second thing might be a vacuum leak, although I could not find one. The solution: Simple, find the problem, fix the problem and I will pay you cash.
