Join this lively tarot workshop. We will overview the Major Arcana Archetypes, the Personality/Court cards, and the Minor Arcana with interactive exercises and experiences for each aspect. Whether you are new to the tarot or a pro this will be a great class to add to your tool kit. We will dip into the basics of giving a full reading and demystify the concept that tarot is complicated. It is rich and nuanced but anyone can become knowledgeable about how to incorporate the cards into your life. April’s teaching style includes many anecdotes, mythical stories, and participatory exercises to create an unforgettable hands-on experience. No tarot deck is required but you can choose from the wonderful selection at the 11th House. The Thoth deck and the Motherpeace deck will be referenced frequently. About April : Her goal is to be the bridge that connects you to this map of life so that you will have a lifelong companion to consult on your journey. April was the house reader at the landmark Hotel Triton In San Francisco. She set up the tarot program at Twisted Thistle Apothecarie in San Francisco and does readings there for special events. She has lead tarot workshops at the Bay Area Tarot Symposium, The Women’s Herbal Symposium, Fabulosa Festival, and the Michigan Womyn’s Music Festival. Her corporate coaching clients include Salesforce, Sonic and Heroku as well as individuals across a wide array of professions.
