Luncheons in the garden at the historic Peña-Peck House are a Saint Augustine tradition! As we enter our 130th year, we're pleased to invite you to join us to the first of our 2022 series, featuring guest speaker Jessica Clark of First Coast News. Jessica Clark anchors the First Coast News 7 pm newscasts on ABC 25. She also reports from the First Coast News Southern Bureau, located in St. Augustine. Jessica is an award-winning journalist. She has won four Emmy awards for her reporting in St. Johns County. One of her Emmys was for a 30-minute documentary about St. Augustine’s 450th anniversary that she researched, shot, and wrote. Jessica has also received multiple Emmy nominations. She is the first journalist to receive an award from the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation for her continuing coverage of archaeology. When time allows, she volunteers with the St. Augustine Archaeological Association on dig sites. Lunch will be prepared and graciously served by us, the members of the Saint Augustine Woman's Exchange. Our menu will include: Chicken with Mushrooms, French Rice, Green Beans with Peppers, Pumpkin Muffins, and Orange Chocolate Cake. Soft beverages will be provided, guests are welcome to bring a bottle of wine if they would like. Tickets are $45 which includes tax.
