The program showcases music by two British composers -- George Shearing's Songs and Sonnets and Bob Chilcott's A Little Jazz Mass -- and also feature some jazz from the USA, songs by Strayhorn/Sherrill, Arlen/Mercer, and Dennis/Adair. Our 100-voice chorus, conducted by artistic director Peter Steenblik, will perform with the acclaimed Guffman Trio, who'll shine in a set of their own. Join us for a free preview of the concert on Zoom on Sunday, October 2 at 7 PM. It will include a 30-minute presentation illustrated with musical excerpts, followed by a 10-minute Q&A session.
