While everyone continues to squabble amongst themselves over the Donald Trump miniseries, let us not forget one very important part of the equation. The media is completely complicit in creating this Frankenstein's monster. Back in the early 80s and even the late seventies Donald Trump was a pariah in the news. He was the evil landlord, the greedy billionaire, the unscrupulous developer who stiffed everybody and did it with a smile on his face. And nobody did anything about it. Fast forward 10 years later and he was given a pass to be one of the judges in the Miss America pageant, and for the most part the media cleaned up his image just so they could sell advertising. 10 years after that he was a media celebrity once again the media polishing his brand with his new TV show The apprentice, without all of these media executives making these really important decisions to give him a voice he would never have gotten where he is today. The Republicans complain about the fake news, the negative reporting, but it was the news and the media that gave him a voice. He would be a nobody Koch brothers type billionaire cheating millions of people quietly in the background while someone else took all of the credit but for the fact that his ego is so oversized and he hates when the spotlight is Switched Off that these ad executives figured out a way to turn him into a national darling and basically looked the other way while he fabricated a historical dialogue to align with his dubious history which to this day remains hidden from public introspection. Why do you think he has not released his tax returns? The minute there is public scrutiny and he is placed under a microscope that is when the Sham and the scam begins to fall apart. And he has fooled all of you. The fact that so many of you have gone so far to support him with your donations, your public attacks of decent-minded Republicans who want nothing more than to bring the country back to its rightful sanity shows the extent of your complete unhinged misdirected Allegiance to one person. But ask yourself this question: if you were an employer and somebody walked into your business and asked for a job who had a very checkered past, several divorces, was prone to lying, was dishonest in his previous business dealings, someone who showed a complete disregard for the concern of others, a lack of empathy, a narcissistic personality, a penchant for stealing, and was just generally very unpleasant to be around, would you hire this person? And yet here is all of the so-called Ultra red Republicans standing up for this man. It doesn't make any sense. If Reagan could come back from the grave he would give Donald Trump a piece of his mind. Gone are the days of the real Republican Patriots. You now have the charlatans, these sheep dressing up like wolves, these grifters pretending to be God fearing loyalists to the Constitution, when all along all they care about is making a name for themselves as long as Donald Trump remains a shining star they can hitch their wagon to. Without the media these so-called neoconservative American Patriots could not exist. The advertising dollars are too tempting for these TV stations and radio stations to resist. Take away the Temptation and you take away the message. Let them start pounding the pavement and Hawk their Wares door to door like vacuum cleaner salesman. Who wants to bet their share of the vote tally is less than 10%? They are betting on the stupidity of the American people to get elected. And in all likelihood they will succeed. But just remember, you let it happen
