Insist on meeting the puppy IN PERSON before giving up any money...
That's the best defense.
If the scammer wants you to send money before you MEET the puppy IN PERSON then it's certainly a SCAM.
If the scammer promises to deliver the puppy AFTER you pay then it's certainly a scam.
If the scammer promises you can pick the puppy up AFTER you pay then it's certainly a scam.
Scammers on here are wiley and they will use any trick they can to separate you from your money.
Scammers will want you to pay with untraceable payment methods like gift cards, bitcoin, western union, Zell, Vermont, cashapp, etc...
