We're celebrating our members and other Black-owned businesses in the Madison area during Member Appreciation Night on Thursday, Sept. 15. Join us on the scenic rooftop of the U.S. Bank building, located on the Capitol Square, for networking, heavy hors d'oeuvres from Black-owned food businesses, refreshments, live music and more. We'll also announce the winners of the 2022 Madison Black Restaurant Week "Favorite Taste" awards and share some information about what's coming up for the Chamber and ways you can get involved. EVENT DETAILS: TICKETS: Our appreciation event is free for members, other Black-owned businesses in our community and their supporters, but registration is required. We also encourage you to invite a local Black business owner to join you. Limit two tickets per RSVP. Registration closes at Noon on Sept. 15. FORMAT: This is a standing event designed to encourage interaction and mingling, so please make sure to wear comfortable shoes. TENTATIVE SCHEDULE: 4:30-5:30 p.m. – Registration and networking mixer w/ hors d'oeuvres, refreshments, interactive information stations and music5:30-6:30 p.m. – An informal program featuring 2022 Black Restaurant Week "Favorite Taste" Award winners, Chamber updates and participation opportunities6:30-7:30 p.m. – More networking and chances to visit our interactive information stationsOPPORTUNITIES: Members and prospective members will have a chance to make valuable connections with others in the Black business community. Plus, you can learn more about how the Chamber can help your business thrive and how you can get involved at our interactive information stations. PARKING: Attendees may park in the U.S. Bank parking garage, which can be accessed on S. Webster Street (from the Capitol Loop).
