Part-time Photobooth Attendant Needed. Some Heavy Lifting Required

The Majestic Photobooth Co. (est 2006) is seeking friendly and energetic attendants--capable of heavy lifting--to transport, set up, and tend to photobooths at various events in the Philly/NJ/NYC and sometimes Baltimore/D.C. area. Candidate MUST have schedule flexibility and be able to work weekends. Events occur mostly on Friday, Saturday or Sunday and often on short notice. Average day is 6-10 hours and day rate is $150-$250 depending on driving distance etc. There is also a possibility of a tip at some events, and you will always be reimbursed for all gas and tolls. Right now, we especially need someone for jobs on Sept 8th, 10th, 17th and Oct 1st, 2022. Please confirm in your reply if you can work on these dates. If performance is satisfactory, you may be asked to work more events in the future. Training will be provided. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: ● Transport, set up, and break down photobooths according to our instructions ● Always respond quickly when contacted by the manager ● Maintain perfect attendance and timeliness. Because of the nature of our business, perfect attendance is a must! We cannot tolerate lateness/no shows ● Be courteous, friendly, and professional at all times. ● Create a fun atmosphere and encourage guests to have a great time in the photobooth ● Keep personal appearance neat and orderly. Many events take place at high-end weddings or other formal environments, so you must own wedding-appropriate attire. SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: ● Able to lift heavy objects. Attendants will load the photobooth into and out of the van and event venue. It's on wheels, but it’s basically like moving a refrigerator. ● Responsible, attentive to detail, and trustworthy ● Possess basic computer knowledge; excellent customer service attitude ● 21 years or older and able to rent/drive Uhaul or other cargo vans (on our dime) ● Valid driver's license & a clean driving record ● Problem solver with ability to perform well under pressure ● Experience in the events industry or a photography background is a plus ● Living in close proximity to Fishtown/Kensington area is a plus Please reply to this ad ASAP with a written description of relevant experience (if any), your cell number, and your availability.
