Please consider treating yourself to the Creative Self Care for the Soul workshop. You will experience a mix of creative process, art making, meditations, deep listening, gentle movements and other interactive activities to enhance your well-being. You are worth it. Join us! What previous workshop attendees said: “Thank you! Thank you! This was such an inspirational, wonderful and fun retreat. I left with great takeaways for nurturing my soul. The fellowship with other women was so uplifting and refreshing. You are doing something that is much needed in the valley.” Debbie D., business owner “I felt connected to an amazing “like-hearted” group of women. Laughing & exploring together in a peaceful & sacred space.” Elise A., financial advisor, musician “My experience was an offer of a breath - a slow down - a reminder to continue grounding myself. Doing so with other women felt supported and spiritual.” Michelle F., executive director This was great to get back to like-hearted women. I can get caught up in many things that can take away from me. And, it’s ok to love and care for me more. I plan to remember that a better me is good for everyone I love and spend time with. Thank you, I had a calming and nurturing experience. Sheila W., school employee "Porcia is a phenomenal convener, connector and group leader. She has a marvelous ability to create great relationships, listen deeply, and inspire others to be their best selves. Her many gifts and talents are always at the service of the greater good and she motivates leaders to do the same for their organizations - big and small." - Suzanne B., retired spiritual director Who is Porcia: Porcia is a seasoned community builder who is passionate about facilitating meaningful gatherings through creative programs. She has used these skills in a variety of roles – as a nonprofit leader, TV show host, leadership coach, and healing circle founder, among others. She shares some of her successful strategies in her engaging and practical book - Gatherings for Greatness (2019). In her position as Executive Director for Thrive, The Alliance of Nonprofits for San Mateo County, she grew an influential organization by cultivating vibrant networks and diverse relationships – and using her excellent facilitation skills with groups from 3 to 500. She leveraged that experience to create You Belong Here Foundation, focused on video and in-person multi-cultural collaborations for truth telling, fostering sisterhood and expanding a community of highly successful women leaders. Porcia now brings her many gifts – and a focus on women’s empowerment and healing - to Soul Centering Connections. Her mission is to meet the growing need for busy women to “pause and reflect” and invite inner growth and meaningful connection – in her beautiful space in Grand Junction, Colorado, retreat settings, and remotely. She brings her personal motto – “Bloom where you are planted” to her work with women who share her desire for responding to the challenges of life with an intentional and welcoming embrace. About Soul Centering Connections: Porcia Chen Silverberg founded Soul Centering Connections to offer space for women determined to learn from their challenges, overcome burnout and explore new directions to create a life they truly love.
