Originally discovered and produced by the members of Stevie Ray Vaughan’s Double Trouble, Albert Cummings has been leaving behind him a trail of sorted bandstands since the beginning of the new millennium. Cummings energetic live shows are proof that he is one tough act to follow, and he has shared the bill with everyone from BB King, Buddy Guy, Johnny Winter, Sheryl Crow, Susan Tedeschi, and many others. In early 2018, Albert released a new live album/DVD entitled Live at the ’62 Center, which notched a Blues Music Award Nominee for “Best Blues/Rock album” at the 2019 Blues Music Awards. Since that time, Live at the ‘62 Center, has aired on several PBS/public television affiliates throughout the country. With his two most recent albums having peaked at #2 on the Billboard Blues Charts, Albert is set to release a new album on April 8, 2022.
