We are celebrating the launch of Paws & Purrs, a new Blue Ridge Hospice program, with a delightful fundraising event at Muse Vineyards located in Woodstock, VA. Enjoy a complimentary drink, snacks, live music by Meisha Herron, pet photography, pet awards, and more. Leashed pets welcome! Paws & Purrs provides free pet services to patients to give comfort, stability, and assurance to pet owners in their last stage of life. At Blue Ridge Hospice, we care for our patients and their families — including their pets! A lot of our patients who are pet owners find it difficult to know that their beloved pets will be left behind once they die. Paws & Purrs provides free pet services including pet walking, food, veterinarian visits, and groomer appointments, to give comfort, stability, and assurance to pet owners in their last stage of life. We provide this care during the patient’s hospice experience as well as after their passing. We also help plan the future for the pet. It often puts our patients at ease to know that their furry, fuzzy, or feathered friend will be taken care of. We invite you to join us and become a Founding Pack Member of the Paws & Purrs program!
