The Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center invites you to Family Day! On September 10, 2022, explore how scientists are expanding our view of the Universe with the help of new space telescopes and probes, like the James Webb Space Telescope. Team members will show you how these tools help us learn more about black holes, the earliest galaxies, asteroids, exoplanets, and more! More than demonstrations and hands-on exploration, visitors can participate in solar observations with safe telescopes and enjoy conversations and Q&As with scientists, astronomers, engineers, and other experts. Plus, be a part of a collaborative art project and hear musical performances by The Chromatics, a high-energy vocal band with a full spectrum of songs about science and technology. Admission to the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center is free, while parking is $15 per car. Learn more.
