Shatiera is a New Jersey native and has been working in the mental health field for almost two decades and in education for nearly one, also known as “Your Favorite School Counselor” Shatiera has been challenged with several adversities and struggles throughout her life. Shatiera’s most transparent moments was when she had the toughest conversations with herself battling lack of self-love, lack of self-confidence and finding her purpose. She now knows the importance and value of honoring one’s self and now is empowering others by sharing her own story as well as the tools and resources she used to overcome challenges, unhealthy relationships, while finding herself.
