Education Volunteer Orientation is a seasonal, three-hour introduction to the volunteer roles in the education programs at the park, and to help make new volunteers feel welcome when they come on board!
Meet park staff and learn about various educational programs offered to the public, as well as meet other volunteers! We'll review ways to lead and support including a guided hike with the group, reviewing classroom roles, and table-based volunteering.
Gain confidence in your knowledge about our park, native flora and fauna, and what to expect with various programs. Also, complete the background check and waiver at orientation, if not done beforehand. Receive materials to take home that will support your service to the park and our community.
We hope to see you there!
