Desi's presentation will highlight recipes using apples, broomcorn, sea oats, acorns, the three sister’s plants, pawpaws, and marigolds. She will include folklore, traditions, and recipes in the talk. Honey will be a big part of the lecture because you are collecting your last harvest before the winter and she will have a selection of honeys to try. Samples will also be from traditional recipes. Following the lecture we will taste all the foods, and have yaupon tea, hot mulled cider, and water to drink.
