Fair Trade LA is a nonprofit that educates and inspires consumers to embrace Fair Trade products so global farmers and artisans can earn a fair and sustainable living. Five dedicated individuals started Fair Trade LA around a kitchen table in 2005. Since then, they have successfully campaigned to establish Fair Trade cities like Pasadena and Claremont. In 2020, Fair Trade LA achieved a milestone by naming Los Angeles the largest Fair Trade City in North America and the fourth largest in the world.
