The 10th Annual Bra-Vo Art Fundraiser sponsored by Artisans of Mount Dora will kick off with an opening preview Reception and Street party October 1, 2022 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the gallery located at 139 E. 4th Ave. in downtown Mount Dora. The exhibit featuring bra-forms and masks decorated by local artists, students, sponsors and cancer survivors, will be on display October 1 – October 23 during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The public is invited to visit and support the event by voting in person or on-line at www.Bra-Vo.org and by participating in a silent auction. Artisans of Mount Dora, Inc. is a nonprofit cooperative art gallery representing over 35 local artists. 100% of Bra-Vo net proceeds are donated to the AdventHealth Waterman Foundation. Since 2012 this event has raised $63,657 to provide free or low-cost diagnostic testing and treatment for breast cancer for men and women in Lake County. Artisans is open Monday through Friday 10 a.m – 5 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m.–5 p.m.
