Hi,
I have Koda (4 yrs old. Long-haired piggy) and Vaquita (2.5 yrs old short-hair piggy) available for adoption. They have been together for the last 2 years. They need to go to the same home and stay together.
Requirements:
1)You must be a previous pet owner with experience with animals
2) You have to have a large cage for them (I added some examples. If you search "rabbit cages", you will find a lot online. Absolutely no small cages. You will have to send me a short video of the cage you already have or show me a receipt of the one you will be buying.
3)They need to have fresh hay and vegetables in the cage every day. And they pellets also. I will help you with detailed info on their diet.
4)You must be an animal lover. Having guinea pigs is no different than having a dog. They need to be treated with great care and love. They haven't gotten sick once and they are very healthy right now. But it is possible in their lifetime that they will need to see a vet. Take that into consideration. I recommend you take them every year for a check up.
5)You cannot have dogs or cats. Guinea pigs will live in fear and won't be happy if they see dogs or cats in the house.
These two guinea pigs are awesome. They will bring you so much joy. But to warn you, they do not like being grabbed. They will not be afraid to be outside the cage and let you feed them. Koda likes a head scratch once in a while. But these two prefer not to be touched. Vaquita is neutered. That is a big plus because they do not fight.
Text or call me with any questions.
