Join Detroit Audubon, Arboretum Detroit and InsideOut for a delightful evening as we enjoy a short nature walk, listen to music, read nature inspired poetry, and talk about local tree and bird species. We invite you to bring your own poetry or listening ears as we roast s'mores around a fire, bask in the nature around us and discuss how it inspires art and poetry for you. Meet at Circle Forest (3301 Palmer St Detroit, at the corner of Elmwood St and Palmer St). Detroit Audubon will provide binoculars for anyone who would like to borrow them on the walk and there is a porta-john onsite at Circle Forest. Sign up through Eventbrite is not required but it is helpful for us to get an idea of the number of participants. We will be outside but still encourage wearing a mask if desired. If you have any Covid-19 symptoms or have been exposed to anyone with Covid-19, please stay home.
