The Happy Goat Soapery will meet you at this Walking Tree Brewery & Coastal Connections Fundraising event! This event designed to spread knowledge and awareness about local recycling and good habits for building a sustainable community that protects endangered sea turtles. We will have our Eco Mobile Lotion Refillery there. The Refillery is designed to cut out over use of plastic and waste that ultimately ends up in landfills. “ Be Part of the Solution, Not the Problem” Refills on our luxurious Paraben Free Goat Milk Lotion are sold by the ounce. We weigh your container (tare) prior to filling. Rather than purchasing a new container each time you need more lotion, you simply bring your empty, clean container to one of our POP UP market events and refill extended-use containers with your favorite scented or unscented lotion. We fill your container for you (8 oz and under please to keep community distribution even) then we will weigh the container again so you are only charged for what you top off. If you don't have a lotion container, no worries we got you covered with one of our pre-filled wheat straw lotion bottles along with many other goat milk bath and body products. Lotion scent options will be: Lavender Essential Oil Lemongrass Essential Oil Coconut Water Pineapple (Phthalate Free) Patchouli Vanilla (Phthalate Free) Fragrance Free This event designed to spread knowledge and awareness about local recycling and good habits for building a sustainable community that protects endangered sea turtles. This event is inspired by the international RedBull Soapbox Derby. Grab your teammates because you are about to burn your mark into the history books by barreling over, through, and around obstacles towards the finish line in your own totally original, totally homemade, recycled vehicle. Vehicles can range from realistic replica cars to anything the imagination can conjure up. Be creative! There are 3 events leading up to race day to build your derby vehicle (See discussion section in this event post for more details) Mash Monkeys Brewing - SEPT 8TH Walking Tree Brewery - SEPT 15TH American Icon Brewery - SEPT 22nd Points are awarded according to SHOWMANSHIP, SPEED & CREATIVITY! Go BIG or go home! Prizes include FREE brew for a year, cash money, and more! You do not have to race to enjoy Recycle Derby. Everyone is invited to cheer on your favorite team! Recycle Derby is an afternoon educational event full of amenities and activities for everyone to enjoy. In addition to the main race happening in the front parking lot and lawn, there will be multiple vendors lining the street with recycled, upcycled, and environmentally friendly creations, Including yours truly, Yes, The Happy Goat Soapery. plus delicious food trucks filling the road. Plus, $1 from every beverage purchased during the event and raffle tickets will benefit Coastal Connections and their Vero Goes Zero initiative.
