Your Impact: The role of the Maintenance is to implement procedures for cleaning, sanitation, materials safety, and infection control so as to ensure the welfare of the clients and staff and to meet the standards for healthcare institutions. Responsibilities: -Repair electrical items -Perform light plumbing work -Perform carpentry work as needed to keep the property in good condition and free of liabilities -Participate in maintaining all exterior lighting by performing scheduled inspections. -Replace screens, garbage disposals, fixtures, appliances, blinds, and locks. -Assist in grounds work, especially picking up trash from the grounds whenever needed. -Repair concrete, masonry, and stairways when required. -Complete work order requests within 24 hours as a general standard. -Take emergency calls. -Assist in controlling stock and maintenance materials inventory. -Purchase under the direction of Property Manager, inventory at the lowest price, when requested -Refurbish dorms prior to resident occupancy, to include all items on the make ready checklist in satisfactory order. -Ensure make-readies are complete. -Maintain all equipment according to manufacturer's recommendations. -Inspect all units, buildings, A/C units and common areas, performing repairs and janitorial assistance as needed. -Repair and replace hot water tanks, dishwashers, stoves and refrigerators as needed. -Secure property and maintain adequate lighting. -Be familiar with suppliers, their goods and services and any contract agreements between them and the Property. -Perform snow removal and use of ice melt, as needed. -Implement preventative maintenance measures -Perform other maintenance duties as requested Shifts: -M-F 8am-5pm Qualifications: -High school graduate or equivalent diploma. -1-2 years similar experience in a residential facility. -(Preferred but not required) HVAC certification - Preferred -Driver's License - Required -Excellent customer service experience - Required -Drug free work environment - Required -Thorough background check - Required *Please email resume or submit application through the website:
