Bellevue, WA family is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to oversee daily details and general operations of the family residence and several other local residential properties. This role requires meticulous upkeep and maintenance of the residence to ensure that each aspect of the home is operating at peak efficiency. What you’ll do: • Daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and housekeeping routines such as: o Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures o Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks o Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area o Making beds and changing linens o Washing windows o Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs o Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors o Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry o Ironing clothing items o Using any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools o Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies o Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces o Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste o Steaming and cleaning draperies o Washing blinds o Tidying up rooms o Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed o Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements • Develop written standards for cleaning, sanitation, deep cleaning, organizing, laundry/ironing, shopping for and stocking household supplies We are looking for someone that: • Is service oriented • Has prior residential housekeeping experience • High energy with a can-do attitude • Pays close attention to details • Is positive and optimistic • Is cognizant of what must be done • Takes care of household needs before being asked • Is organized, reliable and a strong proactive communicator • Has high integrity and honesty • Has ability to adapt to different situations and change work processes to accommodate the family’s needs
